RENEE BENINGER, CNM, FNP

Renee started her medical career in 1998 and worked as a Critical Care Nurse until becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2006. Now, Renee is dual board certified in Midwifery and Family Practice and has delivered over 1,000 babies in hospitals all over Portland and 1 in a clinic room. Her focus is on families and transitions, with a special place for children, especially adolescents. Renee also enjoys supporting mental health and well-being through a supportive and safe environment. She welcomes all ages and preferences and it is her goal to make her patients a partner in their own care. Renee also supports complementary medicine modalities such as acupuncture, naturopathy, homeopathy, hypnotherapy, herbs and more.
Renee has 3 children, Rex, Halsey and Stone, who are the heart of her world. She is married and lives in Happy Valley with her family, where she enjoys urban gardening and chicken farming and has her Master Gardener certification from OSU. While not at work or in the garden, you can find Renee hiking and coaching or attending one of the many sporting events her children participate in.
