About Carol Sticker

With a background in adult psychiatry, Carol Sticker, MPAS, PA-C, provides comprehensive psychiatry and mental health exams and treatment to new and existing patients.  

Carol earned her bachelor’s degree in women’s studies at San Francisco State University.  

She gained her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU).  At graduation, she was honored with the professionalism award, given to the student that most exemplifies the qualities of professional attitude and behavior.  

Carol has a long-time interest in psychiatry, initiated by a rotation during her physician assistant training at OHSU.  After suffering a profound grief experience following the death of her husband to cancer, she decided to pursue her passion in psychiatry.  She initiated a mentorship at OHSU Adult Psychiatry where she specialized in diagnosing and treating patients with depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, and ADHD.  Carol believes that every patient deserves individualized care and attention, and she enjoys collaborating on specific treatment plans to meet each patient’s needs.

To help her keep up to date with the latest advancements in psychiatry, Carol maintains her membership with the Association of Physician Assistants in Psychiatry.  Carol is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.  Additionally, she maintains membership in the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants and the National Association of Physician Assistants.
